RomExpo Franchising is the reference annual event for the promotion of franchising and of advanced distribution solutions. Celebrating this year its 9th edition, it features a completely renewed format, developed by the new organising company Merlo Spa, in order to focus on the needs of franchisor and of potential franchisee , giving the latter the opportunity of exploring the world of franchising with a view to setting up their own businesses. It is an innovative project that aims at turning both of them into the real protagonists.
The Venue
The Palazzo dei Congressi, a prestigious and functional location, universally recognised as a reference point for both the companies and the institutions of the city of Rome..
It is easily reached by car, underground and buses..

Information Area
An information area on the franchising system, also providing guidance on the exhibition path is available at the entrance.

Innovative Architecture
The entire Expo is characterised by an exhibition architecture that places visitors at the centre of the project.
The project solutions for this edition were developed to provide both exhibitors and visitors with a more qualified response. A homogeneous architectural solution will give a higher degree of visibility to all exhibitors.

Guided Path
Visitors are welcomed and guided to the discovery of the exhibition area through a "suggested" path covering all the different product areas; therefore, visitors are allowed to visit all the stands, hence acquiring an overview of all the proposals exhibited at the Expo.

Stands and Corners
An exhibition proposal divided into high-profile Stands and Corners, designed and developed to create a "real house of franchising".

Franchise Profile
Each Stand clearly shows the Profile with the main franchise data; this allows to favour a preliminary selection and to lay the basis for real business meetings.

Plasma Screens
Every stand is equipped with a 42'' plasma screen, used to present the features of each franchisor; plasma screens are strategically positioned to catch visitors' attention. A PC and a mouse connected to plasma screens (touch screen technology on demand) allow to surf through the "virtual showcase". A simple click allows to discover the range of products, the details, and the network, and to make a virtual tour in a store with a view to understanding its product peculiarities. This is an effective solution both in terms of communication and of targeted guide to the business model proposed: a point of sale "reproduced" in the stand.

Institutional and Services Area
This area offers the direct assistance by the Italian Franchising Federation, by other trading associations, as well as financial and insurance support proposals.

V.I.P. Lounge
A restricted-admission exclusive area to welcome V.I.P. customers and to organise business meetings. A dedicated bar providing an open service for the entire duration of the exhibition is available.

Workshops
Conferences and workshops on the real development and support of the franchising system, with the participation of scholars, institutions and sector leaders.

Direct communication throughout the territory, mainly addressed to graduates, employees, and professionals. It is divided into three different steps aimed at:
- Intriguing: messages with a strong impact to generate curiosity
- Inform: qualified promoters to promote the exhibition, describing the opportunities offered directly at workplaces and at the places of transit of the interested targets.
- Participate: a competition will be announced, raffling one or several "work experience grants" destined to start up a new franchising business. The name of the winner will be revealed during the exhibition.
Admission by Ticket
